Spouting off before listening to the facts is both shameful and foolish.

The book of Proverbs was written by the wisest man, King Solomon. It's truth and advice is as applicable today as it was in Solomon's day. T In the above verse, we can remember back when we were told to listen before speaking by our parents, grandparents and/or teachers. They wanted us to hear instructions or information and time to think before we spoke. It is just as applicable today as you learn more by listening than speaking. On anything, acquire facts and information, listen to wise council amd give time to thought before speaking. Maybe that is why God gave us two ears and one mouth!
